My Booking
For customers who have already booked with Canine Comforts, whether that be for a trial run or home boarding, please read the information below about your booking.

Please note, all customers must read and confirm that they have read the pre-bookings details by completing the form at the bottom of this page.
DROP OFF/PICK UP

Prior to dropping your dog off, you will be given an allocated time slot. Please stick to this time as if you are late or early, your arrival may clash with someone elses time slot and we will not be able to answer the door. Your appointment may be cancelled or allocated to another time slot if this were to happen. If you are early, please wait in your car.

If you require a late pick up time or are running late in the morning, your booking will automatically roll into day care where you will be charged an extra £20 for that day.

If you cannot make your allocated time slot or are running late and it runs into our closed time period, we cannot remain open for you due to our schedule with the dogs and you will have to wait until we reopen and you will be allocated a new time slot. Please take a look at our opening times for more information.
WHAT TO BRING
All of your dogs belongings must be labelled with their name. This allows us to easily identify which items are yours so we do not get mixed up. This mostly applies to their food, bags of belongings, bowls etc. Please ensure that you have your emergency contact details with you when dropping your dog off. These details are required for each drop off (new customers and returning). This is to ensure that these details are up to date.
FOOD
-
You must bring your dogs own food. Changing a dogs diet quickly can cause stomach issues and irritation, therefore, we do not provide food or change your dogs diet.
-
If your dog is on kibble, please measure out the portions beforehand and put them into freezer bags, one for each meal. We do not have the space for large food tins/containers.
-
If your dog is on any medication, please put it in a separate freezer bag with details written on it of how to give the medication to your dog (quantity, how often, etc).

BEDDING
-
Please bring your dogs own bed. We do have spare beds available, however, we recommend that you bring your dogs own bed as your dog is familiar with it and it will have the smells from your home which can be a comfort. We also have limited spare beds available.
-
We recommend for you to bring a spare blanket/bedding. In the winter/rainy months, bedding can become dirty with muddy paws and we do not have the facilities to keep washing your dogs bedding (unless soiled).
-
Due to space, we can't accept crates/cages. These can also make the dogs territorial of the crate and develop boundary frustration in a home boarding environment.

VACCINATIONS
-
We need to see proof of your dogs up to date vaccination records via a card or email from your vet. This is a requirement of our license and if you fail to bring these, we cannot board your dog

COLLAR/HARNESS
-
Your dog must have its own collar with a tag displaying your contact details
-
Your dog must have their own harness, otherwise we are unable to walk them. We do not walk dogs on their collars.
-
If you have a dog seatbelt, please bring this. We do supply these otherwise.

DO NOT BRING

-
Your dogs bowls (unless they are for medical reasons, e.g puzzle bowls). We have plenty of bowls and we will not use them.
-
Their favourite toys. Only bring toys with the understanding that they may become damaged or lost in the garden from the other dogs staying with us. We can't be responsible for this.
